I saw Mr.Ahmed today at High Wycombe Hospital, Breast Unit. I was diagnosed with breast cancer for the 2nd time in 6 years. He was very gentle, and kind, in telling me the news but also fully professional in answering all my questions and explaining all the procedures to come. He was softly spoken and calm, which helped me very much. I am so pleased to be under his care.

I met Mr Ahmed in June this year after being told I would need a mastectomy, he was very kind and caring yet professional and listened to any questions I asked and gave very informative answers, making sure I understood. All the staff at the breast care unit are great

I first met Mr Ahmed 11years ago when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I could not forget him because he was kind, patient, informative and caring. I could not fault his skill as a surgeon and my outcome was great. Unlucky for me , I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer again in the other breast in June 2015. Once again, I felt confident and lucky enough to place my care into his hands. Procedures and methodology for the surgical treatment of breast cancer has moved forward, which Mr Ahmed clearly explained to me at every meeting. He has been supportive, patient and clear about the management of this stage of treatment and once again I feel very lucky to have had such excellent care. Whatever the outcome this time I believe that I have had the best of care and am hugely grateful to Mr Ahmed. Thank you.

It amazes me that the NHS is criticised on so many points but when you are seriously ill I cannot fault this organisation that saved my life, quickly and efficiently as the great NHS! This also goes for everyone who works for the NHS, Mr Ahmed is a very caring, confident and versatile consultant. I have been under his care for the last 3 years and when I say versatile, I have seen him treat all his patients with the individual care that we all need. Some consultants are not always too good at seeing the patient in full, some only see the disease and therefore miss the personal touches but I have found Mr Ahmed gave me the full caring package. All procedures were carefully described together with the potential outcomes. As with everything in life the outcomes do not always go as planned but with every new stage of treatment Mr Ahmed showed calmness and confidence that we would find a way to beat cancer. And we did! And although I hope I will never see him again, I would totally go through it all again with Mr Ahmed! Many thanks Mr Ahmed and the NHS xxx

Mr Ahmed really put me at my ease as he came across as very friendly and caring, whilst at the same time having a high level of professionalism. He gave me really good advice and seemed genuinely interested in my health, discussing with me all the possible options and going into detail about risk factors to avoid. I came away having learnt more about my condition and feeling overall positive and relaxed.
